ZTE launches $99 Blade Spark in the U.S


ZTE, the fourth largest smartphone supplier in the U.S, is launching a new affordable mid-range smartphone dubbed Blade Spark in the US exclusively for carrier AT&T. It boasts decent specs, and is priced just under $100. It runs Android Nougat and includes a fingerprint scanner and Dolby Audio.

The ZTE Blade Spark features 5.5-inch HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

For photography it gets 13MP PDAF camera at the back, and 5MP selfie shooter on the front. There's also a selfie button located on the side of the phone, so you can take a quick selfie even when the phone is locked.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. It is fueled by 3140mAh battery that's rated to deliver up to 17 hours of talk time or up to 10 days of standby time.

The Blade Spark is available today in the US online and in select stores through AT&T for $99.99 (Rs. 6,500).
