Moto Z2 Force poses for the camera

Motorola will unveil the Moto Z2 Force on July 25, and the details of the device are no secret. We already know the design of the phone thanks to renders, and the specs sheet as well.

Now just two days before the official unveiling live images of Moto Z2 Force have hit the interwebs that shows the device in Black. There is nothing new revealed in the live images.

The Moto Z2 Force will be Motorola's first smartphone to sport dual-rear cameras and will be aligned horizontally. It will feature metal body, 16-pin connector for attaching Moto Mods, selfie flash and gesture based fingerprint scanner, but ditch the 3.5mm audio jack, just like its predecessor, in favor of USB Type-C Audio.

The body will have a thickness of 6mm, that is 1mm slimmer than its predecessor Moto Z Force (7mm). The decrease in thickness will result in reduction in battery size. The Moto Z2 Force  will pack 2730mAh battery, 22 percent smaller the Moto Z Force's 3500mAh battery.

As for the other specs, there is no surprise. It will have 5.5-inch QHD display with ShatterShield screen, Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform, dual 12MP cameras, 5MP selfie camera, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and WiFi 802.11ac. It will run Android 7.1.1 and arrive in three versions: 4GB RAM/64GB storage for the U.S market, 6GB RAM/128GB storage for the China market and 6GB RAM/64GB storage for the rest of the world. All models will have microSD card slot, and the versions for Asia will have dedicated dual-SIM slots.

The color options rumored are Super Black, Fine Gold and Lunar Grey. Also there's news for the US market. Last year's Moto Z Force was exclusive to carrier Verizon, but this year, the Moto Z2 Force will be sold via all four major US carriers including T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon and Sprint.

That's almost everything known about the upcoming Moto Z2 Force, and only details of the pricing and availability are yet to be known.
