Lenovo India launches new Yoga & Ideapad range of laptops and convertibles

Lenovo is launching a range of Yoga and Ideapad laptops and convertibles in India starting at Rs. 17,800. The new Yoga line include Yoga 520 and Yoga 720, while the Ideapad line includes 720s, 520s, 520, 320s and 320, and run Microsoft's latest Windows 10.

They are convertible notebooks with touch-screen display, support for Active Pen and 360-degree rotatble hinge, which allows you to use them in several modes like tablet, stand, tent or laptop. 

The Yoga 520 will be available with 14-inch and 15.6-inch screen options with Full HD touch screen display and will feature up to Core i7 Kaby Lake processor, up to 16GB RAM, 128GB PCIe SSD + TB HDD, Harman speakers and 10 hours of battery life. It also includes an optional fingerprint scanner for Windows Hello.

The Yoga 720 will be available in 13-inch and 15.6-inch display variants with the option of Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels). It will come with up to Intel Core i7 processor, up to 16GB RAM, up to 1TB PCIe SSD, Dolby audio premium, and an optional fingerprint reader. The bigger 15.6-inch model gets NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050M discrete graphics and Thunderbolt 3 for high-speed data transfer speeds. Lenovo says the convertible should be able to get up to eight hours of battery life on a 13.3-inch model with Full HD display, while the bigger 15.6-inch model with Full HD screen should get up to nine hours battery life.

The Ideapad 720s offers backlit keyboard, up to eight hours of video playback, JBL speakers with Dolby Atmost. The laptop weighs just 1.12kgs. The Ideapad 520s and 320s comes with up to Intel Core i7 processors, and up to NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics.

The Ideapad 520 and 320 has Full HD displays, up to Intel Core i7 processors, and up to NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics.

Coming to the pricing, the Yoga 720 and Yoga will have a starting price of Rs. 74,500 and Rs. 39,600. The Ideapad 320 and 320S costs Rs. 17,800 and Rs. 34,750 respectively. The Ideapad 520 and 520S start at Rs. 42,400 and 47,450 respectively, while the Ideadpad 720 will start at Rs. 74,850. The new laptops and convertible will be available from Lenovo's online store, as well as offline stores across the country.
