Asus ZenFone 4 official teasers confirm dual-camera

Asus released the first member of the ZenFone 4 line earlier this month called ZenFone 4 Max with dual-cameras and massive battery. But according to reports four more ZenFone 4 models are expected to launch next month.

Now Asus has released a teaser of the ZenFone 4 line on its Taiwan Facebook page, and the teaser confirms that they will sport dual-cameras at the back. The teaser also shows off the camera's capabilities like wide-angle shots, zooming and bokeh effects.

Dual-cameras has become a new norm in the smartphone market. Asus's first dual-camera offering was the ZenFone 3 Zoom, followed by ZenFone 4 Max. Apple, LG, OnePlus, Oppo, Xiaomi, ZTE, nubia, Huawei, Xiaomi and Honor are some of the smartphone makers who have already adapted to dual-cameras. While other smartphone makers like Nokia, Sony and Samsung's upcoming devices will have dual-cameras.

Asus usually launches three to five versions of its latest ZenFone phones, and this time we can expect the same. Besides ZenFone 4, Asus is also expected to launch ZenFone 4 Pro, ZenFone 4 Selfie and ZenFone 4V.

The specs of the new ZenFone 4 line are still unknown. But it is most likely the new new phones in the ZenFone 4 range will target the mid-range to the premium-range segment and will feature Full HD/QHD display, Snapdragon 660, 835 chipsets, up to 8GB RAM, up to 256GB internal storage, fingerprint scanner and run Android 7.1.1.
